UWSP Track and Field’s NCAA Indoor National Championships as well as the spring track and field season were cancelled due to the coronavirus. The Pointer hockey team lost a hard-fought game to the Eau Claire BluGolds. They played Friday March 7 for the WIAC championship.   The Pointers started out the game strong with an early goal by junior Steven Quagliata. Quagliata scored less than four minutes into the first period.
