Differential Tuition Passes in Largest Student Turnout

The Student Government Association announced Nov. 13 that students approved differential tuition at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point by a 24 percent margin during the week’s referendum. The proposal passed by 804 votes, with 2,056 students voting in favor and 1,252 against. College of Natural Resources Receives $2 Million Endowment

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has received a $2 million endowment to expand and improve waterfowl and wetlands programs and research. The endowment will create the Kennedy-Grohne Chair in Waterfowl and Wetlands Conservation in the College of Natural Resources, a full-time faculty position paid for by the university.
