Local English Teachers Speak with English Education Majors at Panel

Last week, English education majors hosted an English Teachers Panel to speak with local teachers about various topics concerning their experiences as career-educators. LGBTQ+ Laird Room Displays Removed for Three Days

  Greg Diekroeger, Assistant Director of CASE, removed the Laird Room’s displays for LGBTQ+ History Month.  This removal lasted three days. Anti-Immigration Activity in Wisconsin

Immigration and Customs Enforcement had performed a state-wide operation between Sept. 21 and Sept. 24. I.C.E. had made 83 arrests in Wisconsin during the operation.  Near the area of Stevens Point, six arrests were made in Marathon County and four from the Wausau area.
