Who Are We?

The Pointer is a student-run organization dedicated to the art of storytelling. We tell campus and community stories of student interest. The Pointer also serves as a learning laboratory for students to learn about journalistic writing and what goes into producing a newspaper.

Jack Orlando is a senior Professional Communication major and Media Studies minor. He enjoys how journalism allows him to connect with his community. When not at The Pointer, Jack can be found DJing at 90FM, singing in choir, and chasing the next best sunset.
